Memorial Day

Traditionally this weekend kicks off the summer season with parties and barbecues.

But for too many, it is a horrible reminder of pain and loss. The reality of the sacrifice made by many Americans and their families is very severe.
Every American Serviceman signs that contract knowing he may have  to pay the ultimate price but always hoping it never has to come that. It may be hard to understand for some even they though they enjoy the benefits provided  by those brave men and women on a daily basis.  Many people do not support our military but it would be a sad existence without them. You may not be a soldier or agree with the way our country is being run but courtesy and respect are always appreciated for a job well done. One thing I can do is thank you for your sacrifice and thank your to your family for supporting you. And when I see a veteran and thank him or her for his service I always see that pride and appreciation for the acknowledgement. I hope you too can do the same when you encounter one of our soldiers because it does matter to them and to all of us as  Americans.  Enjoy the hell out of this weekend but never forget the cost. God Bless America my friends!
